With the Pol Sofa, the aim was to create a simple, economic, yet comfortable sofa. By reducing the usual components of the archetype (armrests, cushions etc.), a sort of straight synthesis has been reached with delicacy. The sofa is composed of two absolutely similar elements that form the seat and the back. Each element is made of a foam block encased in a fabric tube, while each end is closed by a plastic piece without any overstitching. A light metallic structure lifts the two masses off the
ground. Laid side by side on the ground, they also can form a spare mattress.
