The design behind this roller blind solution has had two pole since the beginning : the hardware and the textile.
The hardware is a very simple question but hard to solve. What is very important is to find a common reply from the most simple situation to the more technically demanding.
Inside the system, we’ve got three different devices : the open bracket, the semi-open bracket and the closed bracket. Those three hardware solution are really making the fundament of the system. It can be specified for all windows, they can be wide, they can be small, and be installed on both walls or ceilings.
The second pole, the textile, is much more link to a feeling of light and materiality. One of the role of Kvadrat Shade is also to fine tune the atmosphere into a room. Looking at architecture and trying to compliment was more than inspiration for us, it was a guiding rules. Bringing a little of texture, bringing a little of color can just instantly warm up the space or cool it if you wish to go the other direction.
